This is a sad note but also a sobering wakeup call for those who perpetuate fundamentalism. It sounds like he grew up in a family that follows Gothard. (There's some language in it.)

The start of my 2011 book list is in my most recent blog post here: http://virginiaknowles.blogspot.com/2011/01/goals-plans-and-books-for-2011-bring-it.html

I haven't written out my list of books on the topic of home education yet, but I did check out an interesting one from the library: Kingdom of Children: Culture and Controversy in the Homeschooling Movement by Mitchell l
L. Stevens. It was published ten years ago but he has some astute observations on the two camps of home school families.

This article was a good reminder to me today to simply rest in Christ and cease striving.

Hi. I believe it was on this blog that I read an article explaining what was said to Eve in Gen 3. It was about a desire to turn from God and let man rule her. I'd like to read it again to understand it better, if anyone can give me the link?

Thanks in advance.
